We probably do most of talking without paying much attention to it. As we speak, our mind wanders interrupting ourselves, our sentence trail off. Yet we do not manage to be understood.
Speaking in public is a different matter. Audience is captive. They say and they are making judgments about us and our ideas. For this reason, we try to improve our public speaking.
Speaking is a skill. This mean it can be studied, developed, and perfected. The effort, furthermore, is well worth it. For as our public speaking improves, and also our everyday speech will too. We will have now our confidence and eloquence in talking to a college admissions officer, applying for a job, or conversing with friends.
